[GameFi] Avocado Joins Karmaverse to Build a Gaming Multiverse
Have you ever imagined what it would be like to play all of your favorite games in one big universe? One character, hopping in and out of games like jumping into different dimensions. That’s what Karmaverse is building — a multiverse.
Avocado is delighted to partner with Karmaverse in this venture to offer their combined GameFi and Play-for-Fun simulation life game (SLG) which will contain all the games that Karma Games, their parent company, has created to date.
Karma Games is no newcomer to the scene. The Karma team is made up of top game developers who have dedicated experience in building mobile and SLGs such as King of Avalon and Guns of Glory which have seen over 1 million daily users. So bringing games into web3 is a natural step toward the future.
What is Karmaverse?
Karmaverse is an AAA GameFi multiverse comprises of multiple metaverses on the Polygon network. Its first release, Karmaverse Zombies, will see players fight for survival in this RPG post-apocalyptic zombie game. The strongest fight club in the land will be able to resist the zombie invasion and team up or compete against other players. Future title inclusions include the Old West World, Fantasy, Civilizations, with Cyberpunk, Space Exploration and the Far East in development.
Each game has a unique story, graphics, and features such as music and maps, yet players (known as Karmanauts in the Karmaverse) will be able to access all these games from one central hub. Players will have the ability to jump in and out of games, across universes with their trusty avatar in any of the realms. In addition, players will be able to create their own worlds in the Karmaverse so that they become part of the story. The concept is epic!
The game enables players to create their own NFT avatar which will be an asset in its own right. These Avatars are as unique as the game, they can be played in all of the in-game universes and players have the freedom to create, edit and trade their avatars.
Not only can players roam the Karmaverse, but they will also have the ability to build their own homes which have various functions of their own including a walk-in closet to change outfits and make-up to customize avatars further, collect and store items gathered within the games. Players will also invite friends over to their virtual home where they can interact, chat, game and enjoy the scenery and the residents’ music and home entertainment.
The Karmaverse marketplace will allow players to trade their NFTs and tokens in a connected space where they can sell, auction, and buy NFTs and tokens, including tokens with limited availability that cannot be generated over time. They can not only easily buy or sell in-game assets, but they can also play and earn in the game.
Token Economy
$KNOT is the main governance and utility token in Karmaverse with core values. These tokens can be used across all the games within the Karmaverse as well as utilized to trade all in-game assets and NFTs. $KNOT is available to trade on centralized exchanges such as Gate.io and Bitget exchange.
Operating a dual token economy, In Karmaverse zombie, $SERUM, the sub token would be rewarded and consumed during daily tasks and challenges, with $KNOT remaining the main token for trading and purchasing assets.
The Karmaverse is also building its own DEX, the Karma Swap DEX, a socially driven decentralized exchange platform. The platform will facilitate transactions and enable players to swap, earn, stack yields, lend or borrow any of the tokens or NFTs in the Karmaverse.
With careful consideration for the sustainability of the token economy, the Karma team will implement their purposefully developed DBAS (Dynamic Balance Adjustment System) to address the imbalance between the production and consumption of tokens in Karmaverse.
