The next-gen Esports game has landed on the pitch! Avocado DAO partners with MonkeyLeague, a high-production-value multiplayer game built on the Solana blockchain.

What is MonkeyLeague?

MonkeyLeague is an exciting, turn-based, play-and-earn soccer game that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Represented on the pitch by a team of unique collectible funky NFT Monkeys, the teams compete in fast-paced matches in stadiums across the Monkeyverse. Spectators cheer on their favorite team, and the first to score three goals out of six matches wins.

There are four positions on the pitch — Striker, Midfielder Defender and Goalkeeper — There’s no time for monkeying around, players will need to figure out how to tactically play their monkeys on the field, and boost their team’s morale to enhance their performance on the pitch and league up.

Each NFT monkey has totally unique individual characteristics based on 32 traits, ranging from common to rare, to epic, to legendary. Their unique DNA is composed of appearance, trainability and special elements, the rarer the monkey, the higher the potential for one of these traits to create a stronger player and a more valuable tradable NFT.

In-game token $MBS

One of MonkeyLeague’s most fun features is the alternative ways of earning in the game. The in-game currency is MonkeyBucks ($MBS), and whether you love to strike or prefer to observe from the sidelines, there are multiple ways to participate and earn $MBS.

The currency earned by the winning team is split three ways. Monkey teams who win matches will be rewarded, but there are other roles to play. Stadium NFTs will drop later in the year, enabling the owners to earn from hosting matches, and players can choose to join the match as spectators and earn by cheering for the winning team.

$MBS is used in the marketplace to purchase in-game NFT consumables that increase your team’s performance. The currency is also utilized to breed new monkeys with stronger traits, higher skill potential and NFT rarity. The token has strong utility and can be traded on available exchanges.

Governance token $SCORE

$SCORE is MonkeyLeague’s governance token. Ownership will enable token owners to contribute to future decisions and governance of the game platform and treasury once $SCORE is implemented. This governance token structure empowers the community to contribute their voice to the decision-making process and have a say on the direction of the project’s future trajectory.
