[GameFi] Avocado DAO Partners with Drunk Robots to Run Riot on the Streets of the Metaverse

Avocado DAO continues to extend its partnerships, and we are thrilled to join forces with Drunk Robots for the most savage web3 game on the BNB chain.

This fun and entertaining RPG-style game has already received investment from GameFi leaders Animoca Brands, Binance NFT and other big names in the space. Now, the game’s creators have joined the Avocado family to bring these Drunken Rogue Robots to our community.

With dope graphics and diverse gaming options, the collectible NFT Robots appeal to NFT investors as well as avid gamers who can earn two types of in-game currency as they compete in different activities throughout the game’s metaverse.

What is Drunk Robots?

Set in the near future, robots take over a range of functions once performed by humans. When the robots malfunction, they are discarded and left to rust at the Robo-dump. The damaged robots begin to utilize their technical abilities to fix each other and build hideouts where they can live away from humans. These defunct robots find their place on the outskirts of larger cities, drowning their sorrows with METAL beer.

The rebellious robots venture into the cities in search of scrap metal and their favorite brew, over time becoming more hostile and aggressive. As a result of the robots’ constant raids, human city dwellers move away, leaving the city to fall into the hands of the robot gangs. The deserted city now known as Los Machines becomes overrun with robots, who now only need METAL beer to maintain their energy levels. The robots split into mobs robbing neighboring cities, shops and banks so that they can continue to stockpile unwanted scrap, brew and get wasted on METAL beer.

Los Machines is now torn as the robot gangs fight each other to take control of land and resources. With access to weapons and disused artillery on the black market, it’s getting scary on the streets and mobs are becoming more and more reckless.

There are 10101 unique drunk NFT robots ranging in skills and rarity from common, to rare, epic and legendary. The roadmap outlines the staggered release of the robots over a period of time. The NFTs can be bought and traded on the secondary markets. Once you’ve got your boozed-up robot, you can select one of the many gaming modes:

• PVP: build or join a gang to brawl other robot mobs in PVP mode.
• Expeditions: Head off in search of the scrap metal, and other valuable resources such as the game’s infamous METAL beer.
• Scavenging: Complete mining tasks to win containers filled with weapons and other useful items.
• Drunk races: Players can build a car using a variety of parts and tires to join up to nine other players in the drunken races.
• Mini-games: These weekly mini-games help players win containers.

The game features some exciting modes to keep players entertained and there are plenty of opportunities to GameFi the game’s currencies across the different modes.

Dual token system

Drunk Robots has a two in-game tokens structure that serves to diversify activities and purchases within the game and conversion into fiat currency.

• The main in-game currency $METAL can be traded on Gate.io and Pancakeswap. It is earned by winning PvP battles and missions — and spent purchasing items, beer, equipment and rarity upgrades, as well as farming.
• The second in-game currency $JUNK can currently be earned by scavenging and will provide further utility in the future for purchasing specific assets.
