Avocado DAO is collaborating with REVV Racing to give scholars and future scholars the chance to slip behind the wheel of AG-themed REVV Racing car NFTs and hit the virtual racetrack.
REVV Racing is the skill-based arcade simulation car racing blockchain game developed by Animoca Brands on the Polygon blockchain. It gives players complete and real-time first-person control of their racecars and rewards them with digital assets that can be converted into real money.
Interested existing and future guild scholars have the chance to receive one of the 500 playable racecars minted by REVV Racing through their personal MetaMask wallets by participating in the REVV Racing Gleam event.
How to join the Avocado DAO x REVV Racing NFT Giveaway
The REVV Racing Gleam event will start on September 16, 4 pm (PHT) and ends on September 17, 2 pm (PHT).

How to Set up a MetaMask Wallet to play Revv Racing
Step 1: Installation
Head to https://metamask.io/ (on Google Chrome)
Click “Download” and then “Install MetaMask to Chrome”
Click “Add to Chrome”
Click “Add Extension” to complete the installation
* The fox should now be in the upper right hand corner of the browser
Step 2: Setup
Click “Create a Wallet”
Agree to the Terms and conditions
Enter a password and click “Create”
IMPORTANT: you will now be given 12 words that make up your backup “secret phrase”
Write it down and store it somewhere SAFE
DO NOT STORE IT AS A PHOTO ON YOUR PHONE AND DO NOT SHARE IT: anyone with your secret phrase can get access to your wallet and have access to all the assets stored in it
DO NOT LOSE YOUR SECRET PHRASE OR GIVE IT TO ANYONE… EVER: It is used to recover your wallet in case you forget your password. This is the ONLY way to recover your wallet, so keep your secret phrase safe!
Confirm and save your secret phrase, now your wallet should be set up
Step 3: Using MetaMask with REVV Racing
REVV Racing is built on the Polygon chain, so you need to change your MetaMask network from Ethereum Mainnet to Polygon Mainnet. To do so, follow these steps:
Go to REVVRacing.com — you should see a prompt to switch to the Polygon network.
Click on “SWITCH” and a MetaMask popup will appear, allowing you to add and approve the Polygon network. Do so.
Another popup will appear after that prompting you to switch to Polygon Mainnet. Click “Switch Network”.
