Avocado DAO Community Update #12

Happy New Year and welcome to Avocado DAO’s yearly round-up. With a roller coaster year in the crypto scene behind us, we are looking ahead to an exciting year to come!

We are ending 2022 on a high, with new games, scholarships, and rewards for our community, as well as interesting projects in the pipeline for 2023.

Our Big Achievements This Year

• Onboarding more users across 8 new innovative and rewarding scholarship games. In 2022, we currently have scholars in Axie Infinity, Pegaxy, CyBall, Elpis Battle, GenoPets, Wasted Lands, Karmaverse and Evio.io.
• Growing our Discord community to over 90,000, with members joining and engaging with our activities.
• Successfully launched 3 new AVG Staking programs, including a Liquidity Pool. All are now closed, enabling our token holders to accrue staking rewards while holding AVG.
• Attending and speaking at some of the most prominent blockchain conferences, including Korea Blockchain week, and attending Token2049 Singapore and co-hosting a game night. We also organized our own community meet-ups in the Philippines and Indonesia to meet and greet our Avocadians across those regions.
• Launched our Questing Portal, boosting our partnerships and collaborations, and engaging thousands of new and existing users in fun in-game and community quests in which they can gain AXP points to trade in the Avo Shop for a variety of prizes such as merch, gift cards, and NFTs.

The Latest Updates

We’re delighted to announce our new partnerships with PlayOne Games, a web3 game launchpad, and Kingdom Story: Heroes War, a gripping new title coming to the blockchain.

We kick off the new year with a shiny revamped Questing Portal with upgraded dashboard features so that users can keep track of their activities and points.
